Our stay with friends was memorable. Susan and Vaughan made us feel at home. They provided useful tips for visiting the Enchanted Forest and local walks. The breakfast was a standout, especially the homemade jam and amazing haggis. We loved the easy access to the garden and nearby attractions.
One downside was that while the room was comfortable, it had a slightly dated feel and the bed wasn't the most comfortable.

The breakfast spread was amazing, with the porridge being a standout that stole the show! After a day of hiking, I loved unwinding in the cozy lounge and exploring the lovely gardens. One small downside was the limited towel supply, but that didn’t take away from my great experience overall. 😊

The breakfast spread was impressive, especially with options like a delicious fruit parfait and perfectly cooked haggis that really kicked off the day. The inviting sitting room, complete with a real fire, provided a cozy spot to unwind after exploring the lovely gardens.
There were some minor inconveniences during the stay. The limited towel supply was a little unexpected. I prefer to have more than just one full-sized towel. while the decor had a charming touch, it felt somewhat dated and the bed could have been more comfortable for a better night's sleep. A couple of eggs benedict disappearing under a single egg on toast left me scratching my head—definitely not the usual standard I'm used to. Lastly, two single beds pushed together weren't the coziest arrangement for a couple looking to snuggle up.
